Thesis Description
Criogenic techniques to deal with Transurethral Resectomy of Prostates have been around for more than twenty
years. The main drawback of this technique arises from the difficulty of properly controling the gradient temperature
in the prostate boundaries. Very often, this results in serious damage of tissue surrounding the prostate. The goal is
to model the geometry of the prostate glandule and tissues close to it as well as to set up, to verify and to validate a
thermal behaviour model.
